My first wedding with the Fuji X-E3.


Lillaya & Matthew's wedding day took place in the town of Borehamwood located in Southern Hertfordshire, & was one of the very first weddings which allowed me the perfect opportunity of taking the Fuji X-E3 for a spin...I was dying to see how this compact camera was going to perform in a real life wedding, from bridal-prep all the way through to the first dance.


The bridal preparations are always a challenging element of any wedding day, it's a very busy part of the day with so much going on & with differing emotional aspects to consider...I particularly love when the father of the bride first sees his daughter in her wedding dress, it is such a beautiful & emotional moment.


Lillaya's morning was no different, even with all the family coming & going there was still time for lots of laughter, hats off to her she kept her cool & enjoyed every minute...it was an absolutely glorious day to the point where even the shades came out before heading to the lovely St. John Fisher & St. Thomas More Church for their wedding ceremony.


I always recommend that the bride & groom separate from the wedding party, usually after the wedding ceremony & before the reception for their couples shoot, don't worry it won't be for too long as I want you to enjoy your special day...but I find this does two things, it allows you both the time to really appreciate one another alone whilst giving you some breathing space from all of the excitement of your day, it's also a brilliant time to capture those beautiful moments of you both...Lillaya & Matthew decided to have their couples shoot somewhere that was really meaningful to them, the absolutely stunning Laura Ashley Hotel [The Manor Elstree].


Twenty @N20 is an incredible venue, it is one of the hottest exclusive event spaces in North London & is where Lillaya & Matthew decided to have their wedding reception, where they spent the remainder of their day celebrating their love with family & friends...& even bumped into Arsenal's football manager Arsène Wenger.


I am blown away by how capable the compact Fuji X-E3 camera is, it is so discreet which I think compliments my documentary style, & the beautiful colours that Fuji camera's produce is a bonus...I will definitely be bringing this beauty with me to every wedding & keeping my trusty Nikon DSLR firmly in my camera bag as a backup.
