A whole wedding taken with just my 23mm lens.


Jane & Todd wanted to share their love for one another with an intimate ceremony & celebration with a small group of family & friends...a gorgeous micro-wedding that took place at the lovely Commodore Hotel [South Sands], located in the Sand Bay / Kewstoke area of North Somerset.


As this was a very intimate wedding, I wanted to be as discreet as possible...so I came equipped with my compact Fuji X-E3, 50mm & 23mm prime lenses...however the 50mm lens stayed in my bag all day as I felt the 23mm lens performed perfectly...I could get close enough to the action & take a step back for those wider shots.


I love how the little trinkets were beautifully presented throughout their theme, which clearly shows their passion for VW camper vans...& of course I just had to incorporate this somehow into their images (which I think was a success).


I really admire how adventurous Jane & Todd were, despite how windy the day was they were adamant to have their couples shoot at one of their favourite spots...Uphill Beach, which is part of the incredible seaside resort of Weston-Super-Mare...we spent quite some time there & they enjoyed having a few moments to themselves...they even got chauffeured around in the VW camper van!
