Blackpool - Pier & Beach - Engagement Shoot.

My first engagement shoot with the Fuji X-E3.


When Jane & Todd asked me to capture their wedding day, I was delighted when they wanted to include an engagement shoot in their collection.


I always recommend that my couples book an engagement shoot, as this creates the perfect opportunity to meet in person & gets you used to me & the camera...typically engagement shoots take approximately 1-2 hours, are always fun with lots of laughter, & just generally a part of getting to know each other...plus you get some fabulous images out of it too.


A big part of my style is introducing the element of touch into my images (wherever possible), this can be something as simple as holding hands or even going for the kiss...what this does is it creates a tension & builds on emotion in photos which I really love.


Engagement shoots are ideally at a location of your choice, preferably a place that is meaningful to you...for Jane & Todd this is Blackpool, an absolutely great location where they spend a lot of their time.


Despite the amount of footfall you evidently get at a popular location as Blackpool, it turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day where we had great fun at the pier & surrounding beaches...ice creams & donuts for everyone was a must!
